Leather Quilt

So as if preparing for the royal bison ahead of time and finishing Fall 2009 accessory designs for nokomis before i leave for honduras wasn't enough, i have also been working on something kinda crazy for this art show i agreed to be in. i need a vacation. anyway here is a sneak peak. if you are in Edmonton you should definitely check out this show. it is at the artery (9535- jasper avenue) saturday January 24 eight pm

i made this quilt out of old leather coats that can no longer be resold because they were damaged. it is not quite done, it has no border yet. i've never made a quilt before or been in art show. kinda nervous cause it turned out quite ugly. fortunately i won't even be here for the show. i will be lying on a beach with handsome.
