I was very happy to contribute some clothing to the latest créatif shoot by Sébastien Roy and Mélanie Brisson. You can see a lot of knit pieces in there by Maude Nibelungen, who i adore.

looking for answers

i rarely show the whole editorial shoot, usually just whatever pertains to me in a stylist borrowing situation but i thought this one needed to be shown whole and in the proper order, like a story. it was shot in chinatown here in montréal.

scratch and sniff

so it's christmas eve, i am assuming everyone has received my christmas cards and i can now share it here without spoiling the surprise. this year i bought handmade cards, i could not resist these amazing hand blocked cotton paper cards by jill Kleinhans. they're both SCRATCH & SNIFF! genius. there is special envelopes that go with them with as well.

organic leggings

organic cotton jersey on top and a transparent spandex on the bottom. this is they way they were always intended to be. i will be gifting myself a pair for x-------mas.

gaylord

my brother, christopher, and i on the farm in our beautiful matching wool and fur coats my mom made us for winter. that was our dog gaylord, my mom named him, lol. sometimes i still have dreams that i am in my old house and gaylord is at the door begging to get in.

Silk Bustier

I have just listed these silk paneled bustier tops on my etsy shop. They are perfect for layering under or over something. Perhaps wear it with some high waisted pants or skirt. Leopard print mud silk and lined in a strong, breathable cotton. Vero wears the all black silk version in size A-ONE, they are available in 9 different sizes.

christmas panther

we have a little tiny panther under our tree. a christmas miracle. it's a present for jon and i think his i-hate-christmas grinch heart grew a couple sizes this year. we are in love with Paul Krugman already. (jon named him obviously)

arctic coat

i bought this vintage wool coat from lily and ruby it's very grown up and serious so i had to do a funny faux serious photo shoot.
i love it, i've been wearing it everywhere, as you can see. montreal so far has been very warm and rainy but i am getting prepared for the winter that WILL surely come.





inspiration for fall 2013 is winter whites and the long arctic nights.
